About Annapolis People Search

Annapolis records are divided among city departments, Anne Arundel County offices, the Maryland Judiciary, and state agencies. Deeds, court files, parcels, voter records, certificates, and old directories do not share one search. We built this private reference site to help readers identify the right official portal, records counter, or archival collection without treating those separate systems as one database.

Why This Site Exists

Annapolis has an unusually layered records system. The Circuit Court clerk holds land and marriage records, Maryland courts publish case summaries, SDAT maintains parcel ownership, and election officials control voter records under Maryland law. Birth and death certificates have separate local and state routes. Business registers and the Kuethe Library add still more sources. We organize these official tools, office details, and access limits by the question each source can answer.

Resources Collected Here

  • Pages by record type: public records, voter registration records, and people directories
  • Local records offices: Circuit Court clerk, Register of Wills, elections board, health department, City Clerk, and state agencies
  • Practical search paths: court party searches, parcel-to-deed research, and historic directory browsing
  • Access boundaries: what Maryland law opens, what remains protected, and where to send a Public Information Act request

Services We Do Not Provide

This is a privately run reference site, not part of the City of Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, Maryland government, any court, or any custodian office. Those limits matter:

  • We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
  • We cannot confirm whether a specific person lives in Annapolis
  • We cannot remove information from government records or third-party databases
  • We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a record applies to your situation
  • We cannot guarantee that every record index, portal link, or office detail on this site is current right now

Only the custodian office can confirm, certify, or correct a record. Nothing found through this site may be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
